Challenge: Random Legendary Draft

The idea: before pod night, everyone uses our Draft Legendary tool — either solo or as a group draft with everyone's name entered at once — and builds their deck around whatever legendary creature they're handed. No swapping, no re-rolling because you don't like the colors.

Variant — constrained draft: agree on a filter before drafting, e.g. "only legendaries with converted mana cost 3 or less" or "only two-color commanders" or "must have an ETB trigger." Keep drafting (via the group tool, or by hand from a binder/collection) until everyone has a commander that fits the rule.

Why it stays interesting

Nobody picks their signature commander, so the pod sees decks it wouldn't otherwise — including some genuinely bad commanders that force creative deckbuilding.

Cost control

This is the most budget-friendly challenge on the list: it costs nothing extra, since the constraint is which commander you use, not what you spend. Build with cards you already own, or treat it as a theorycrafting exercise and only actually acquire cards for the build the pod likes best.
